About Us

Tony and I have been coming to PCB since 1990. We reside in Ozark,MO sandwiched between Springfield and Branson. It had been an annual trip that began in the beautiful camp grounds of St. Andrews, in a tent. After a couple of years, we graduated up to a pop-up camper, then a 5th wheel, and then renting condo’s.

We had always debated the feasibility of owning a condo vs renting them; and as Tony’s job allowed, we were eventually able to rent for a month long …realizing that we really would like to retire here at some time. Or, at least, become snowbirds ourselves. Who wouldn’t? LOL!

We have 3 grown children ranging in age from 27-35. Youngest in college, with aspirations of becoming an electrical engineer, (will graduate winter of 2020!). Our middle child married for 7 years now, with our first, and currently only, grandson that turned 2 recently. Our oldest is the lead graphic designer of a sign company focusing on fleet graphics and other vehicle wraps. He also recently began his own business creating websites and other IT endeavors, in addition to creating some innovative products used in the condo industry to preserve cabinetry. Tony had been a long time business owner locally, and the sale of his and his brothers company is what propelled our venture into condo ownership. Now he works on the board of our church, and does “honey-do” handy man work and lawn care to stay busy.

I feel like I’ve done a bit of everything. I am a RN by profession, and was working when I met Tony. I was then able to be a SAHM (stay at home mom); which is an incredible experience all of it’s own! I can honestly admit, there were days I would have rather had a floor of 35 sick people & their family’s to manage vs 3 small children! During this time frame, I homeschooled the kids for many years, which enabled us to be able to travel whenever we could in tandem with Tony’s job. As the kids become older, I ventured into business ownership myself, and owned/managed a med-day spa for 8 years. That endeavor ended approx 6 years ago as my health become more of a challenge. Currently, I’ve returned to nursing as a RN in a long-term care facility a few days a month, and more as needed. Nursing will always be a rewarding use of my time and energy.

We purchased our Treasure Island condo in the fall of 2009, and have never regretted it. It will, no doubt, be our official “home away from home”. We love the layout of the Treasure Island complex, and the condo unit itself. It seems so spacious and the proximity to the beach is amazing.

We love that we can bring our dog(s) with us if we want to, and have the ability to offer that pleasure to our guests who are equally attached to their fur babies.

Tony enjoys his daily walks to St Andrews and visits with the local fishermen from the piers, and many times we will bring his bike (or scooter) down where he finds he can get ALL over the place and even bring limited groceries back with greater ease.

Walking to Schooners for lunch or dinner is a pleasure, and we can go by beach or by the road that runs just off the main drag. This is also a nice route to walk your pet, and grab a drink while you’re out and about, especially when the season begins to slow some and traffic not as hectic.

I am thrilled the resort now has a hot tub, I adore the outdoor lunches and drinks provided by an onsite Liza’s where one can sit endlessly for hours, day after day, just enjoying the beauty and splendor of the scenery. The 3rd floor is high enough for some privacy from those low enough to watch the wildlife and have spectacular experiences watching dolphin play, stingrays skirt the shoreline ( they always avoid people! Fun to watch them from afar; while those right in the midst of them are unaware!!). Pelicans, egrets and sand pipers hunt for food along the shore line, and hermit crabs are definitely fun to find in some of the smallest of shells! Check all the shells you find while playing in the gulf; many hold living surprises!!

We have been on VRBO/HomeAway for a really long time, and are looking forward to building/ branding the business aspect of condo ownership through this website to augment our visibility, and return to a more personable approach with our guests. Unfortunately, VRBO has initiated many changes that impede building that relationship….a relationship that creates bonds as many of our guests become regular annual visitors, making our home theirs! I know when we were renting, it was an awesome feeling to visit the same place year after year, and that feeling of “I’m home / “We’re back!”” when you arrive.

Hi and welcome to PCB Beach Escapes.

I am DaRinda Baggett and I manage two condo rentals in Panama City, Florida. I have been operating PCB Beach Escapes since 2009, and since then, we’ve catered to clients from all over the US and internationally.

Our well-appointed and fully-furnished condominiums are absolutely divine. We made sure they are fitted with luxury furnishings and furniture, so you can truly enjoy your holiday and vacation with your loved ones and family.

We have two condos: one at the Treasure Island resort, and one at the Gulf Crest. Each rental faces the beautiful Gulf of Mexico so you get unbelievable sunsets each and every day you stay at our rentals.

We made sure our kitchens are fully-equipped, complete with utensils, plates, and even a few condiments to start with. You can concoct your best homecooked meals, and if not, the condos have their very own restaurants and cafes where you can have your food delivered to your door.

We made sure each condo offers amenities and facilities that truly create the resort experience for our guests. We’ve got hot tubs, communal pools, a gym in each condo, and plenty of opportunities for fun and entertainment.

Our self-contained condos mean you have a beautiful home away from home in Panama City. Compared to staying at a hotel where all you have is a bed and TV, our rentals are truly furnished down to the plates and cups. Creating luxury accommodations that create a high-end vacation home for our guests, we ensure that you’ll have the most comfortable, enjoyable, and exciting experience in our rentals.

If you wish to know more about our units, or you wish to ask about the vacancy, please do not hesitate to send me an email at darinda.baggett@icloud.com. You may also call me at (417) 830-6379. I am available at your service from Sunday to Saturday, between 10 am to 10 pm. I am also located at 004 Thomas Drive Condo #310, Panama City Beach, 32407, Florida.
